Adv Harpreet Sandhu assumes charge of Chairman Punjab Infotech

CHANDIGARH, November 29: Newly appointed Chairman of Punjab Information Technology and Communication Technology Corporation Limited, Adv Harpreet Singh Sandhu assumed charge of his office at Udyog Bhawan in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Rural Development and Panchayats Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Industries Minister Gurkirat Singh and Agriculture Minister Randeep Singh Nabha.

          Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, presented a Siropa (Robe of Honour) to Adv Sandhu and conveyed his best wishes to him.

          Congratulating Adv Sandhu, Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh expressed hope that Punjab Infotech will achieve new heights under the guidance of the new chairman. He also assured every possible support from Punjab Government to Adv Sandhu, while conveying his best wishes for the new stint.


Eminent Lawyer Harpreet Singh Sandhu, who is also an Author and Nature Artist, said that keeping in view the technology services in this IT era, today it’s need of an hour, under the dynamic patronage and leadership of our Chief Minister Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi, to ensure that in the coming days we do efforts to uplift the IT industry on the land of Punjab with the guidance of Industries Minister Gurkirat Singh.

          Lokpal Punjab Justice VK Sharma, Principal Secretary Industries, Commerce & Investment Promotion Tejveer Singh, ADGP Jails Praveen Sinha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Invest Punjab Rajat Agarwal were among other prominent persons, who attended the charge assuming ceremony.
